Is it okay to fall asleep in the bath tub
l have this bubble bath relaxing soap and it make me feel relaxed and if l
play music l could fall asleep. Should l re and stay awake or what?
How can you drown by falling aslp in the tub? l thought water wakes you
up?
it depends on if you are tiny enough to slip down and under the
water. the average teen or adult isn't short enough to do it. I have done
it countless times with my feet pressed up against it. It kind of props
you up, however when you wake up the water is cold and your all pruned up.
It is not worth it, whenever I accidentally do it I feel ''yuck'' when I
wake up hours later.
sure if you dont go underwater. if you do u will be sorry.
the water should wake you up. but do you really want to
experience waking up gasping for air after suddenly waking up and
breathing in water? that would be so painful.
Falling asleep in the bathtub happens a lot. Most people are
tall enough they won't slip into the water. What usually happens is the
water gets cold and you wake up because the temperature drops too low.
Drowning CAN happen if your mouth goes low enough to let you inhale the
water. Soapy fresh water is particularly bad for lungs because of the
difference in salinity causing fluid shifts. They make collar pillows to let you safely stay afloat and out of the water.
I'd say it is okay, with the usual bath precautions (make sure
your music player is nowhere near the tub, and there are no other
electrical things that can fall in the water, leaving candles lit are
probably not a good idea either). And as long as you don't have any
medical conditions that can make it dangerous (seizure disorder, heart
attack, stroke, or are elderly or frail.). Worse thing that can happen is
you come out all wrinkled like a prune. ;-)
Well, you set probably do this in the case that you should fall
asleep:
-Set an alarm. Or make a time limit for when you should get out. Have
someone come in there to get you, if you have someone else in the house.
-Move around a lot, or lower the amount of soap you put inside the tub as
you fill it. -Put some music on that keeps you awake & centered. If all else fails, don't use the bath soap for too long. You know ur limits on how much you can put in there before you get groggy & tired. Good luck, & happy bathing! ^_^
no, its not. you should take a bubble bath and then dry off
and cuddle into bed.hmmm its nice that way, and you dont need to worry
about drowning. also, sleeping in a tub can hurt your neck unless your
tub is shaped exactly like a bed, pillows and all.
as long as you are in a light sleep and can wake yourself
up..dont fall completely asleep becareful! just relax
i fell asleep in the tub one time and my face slipped in the
water and breathed some in and it woke me up right away choking (not so
relaxing after all) i think that is is a big concern with children and
people who are on some medications/ drug prob.s/ to much alcohol. but
other than that i think it would wake you up like it did me.
you can get electrified
Do NOT fall asleep PLEASE! I did this once and almost drowned I
am Not kidding it was so freaky.
I sleep in there every morning. It is fun and relaxing. I love
it. And i haven't had a drowning crisis yet. it can help you out in the
day. its relaxing but make sure you dont stay in to long or it will get
cold.
I would not let myself fall asleep in the tub. People have died
that way. I am not sure why the water didn't wake them, but it can happen.
So you shouldn't do it.
I dont think that is a good idea to do that. they say you can
drown in the shallowest of water you feel your self getting a little to
relaxed then get out or have some one watch you which i doubt anybody
would be willing to do accept a spouse.
i remember i was 9 yrs old and i fell asleep in the tub
it was weird cuz my head managed to stay afloat on a toy i kept in there
well.. if you can stretch ur legs to keep ur head above water,
than u are fine.. i've fallin asleep in the bathtub, and I am fine! lol.
it is supposed to relax you!
Yes Sparkles, it is ok.
water will definitely wake u up
No not if you want to live!
Water will probably wake you up. You should be safe. Just
make sure that nobody spies on you while you are asleep in the bath tub.
it will be fine to take a nap
not a good idea
you could drown
Of course its not good to fall asleep in the tub. You can drown
in a bowl of soup! - all you need is to get some water in your lungs
instead of air and you are done.
once u go under water u would probably wake up but if u
gasp for air u could accidentaly bring water in your lungs
No you could drown.
um its pretty dangerous, cuz you can drown
ha ha yes. its awesome
maybe, depends if ur a heavy or light sleeper.
no you can drown!

if you decide to tie ropes under your arms to the shower curtain pole to
make sure that if you wake up jump up and hit your head you dont drown
yes. as long as you don't sleep there the whole night. Then
that could be dangerous.
